Fruit, as we all know is good for us. It gives us vitamins, it’s healthy and it tastes good too!

But did you ever stop to think that our actions and behavior are our fruit that we give to the world?  As we connect more closely with our Angels and refine our Spirit to our Highest Path and Purpose, our character grows. It can either grow abundantly or … not.

Where there is Fruit of the Spirit, the Angels and Spirit are at work! You can ALWAYS put your trust in that truth!

A fruit tree that grows healthy and abundant can be compared to how people and their actions show the Fruit of their Spirit.  So, the Angels want us to consider today … what fruit are you giving to the world? And what about the fruit that  you surround yourself with? Are your relationships and environments fruitful and healthy?

Here are some of my favourite fruits:

• Love
• Joy
• Peace
• Patience
• Kindness
• Gratitude
• Gentleness
• Hope
• Compassion
• Grace
• Self Control
• Unity
• Forgiveness

But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law.

Galatians 5:22-23 (New International Version)

Totally true! It sure isn’t against the law to be a kind, compassionate person. And it doesn’t hurt anyone to choose to surround yourself with the energy of love and hope and people who are gentle. And you have the divine right to set your boundaries, practice extreme self care and not accept lesser behavior than this!

A person or environment such as a workplace, school, group or community that is fruitful…

• does not envy
• does not act puffed up or parade itself, act with pride or ego
• is not rude or demeaning
• does not conspire against you
• make you feel ‘bad’ about yourself

Once you’ve been indulging in healthy fruit, you definitely don’t like junk anymore!!

I have recently come to truly appreciate what a great way this is to measure not only my own character and behavior, but also to create proper boundaries for myself and my family. If I use these fruits as a measure of my relationships or the environments I find myself in, I can always ensure that I am in an energy that is healthful, loving and best for me.

Asking for things, praying for what you want and visualizing are good steps to creating new things but its important to take a few moments to also stop and listen for the a response. When you spend some time in quiet reflection and meditation, it gives God and the Angels and chance to speak to your Spirit and then a conversation truly begins!

The past two mornings I have awoken with The Sound of Music in my head!

I have literally been ‘hearing’ Maria sing the Sound of Music for the last two days and it has me inspired!

The hills are alive with the sound of music

The hills fill my heart with the sound of music
My heart wants to sing every song it hears

My heart wants to beat like the wings of the birds that rise from the lake to the trees

To sing through the night like a lark who is learning to pray

My angels love to sing to me and often I find I will hear the same song on the radio, in the store, in my head etc. (This is called Claireaudience — Clear Hearing!) Being a child of the 80′s my poor angels have a plethora of pop culture, music and television to work with in my head. I know of others who will get guidance from literature or other high brow material, not me! LOL. I get pop culture! Songs from the 60′s, tv clips and bits of  movies playing in my head (That’s Clairevoyance — Clear Sight!). I think my angels and the Holy Spirit now realize the best way to get Darlene’s attention is to make her laugh, so messages I receive are often playful, humorous and loving!

So yesterday, after hearing Maria for about an hour I decided to take up the offer and went outside. As I was walking in the yard I realized I was surrounded by tiny frogs!

Their chirping was so loud it was like my ears were ringing! I even caught one for a minute and the litte frog was only an inch long. Such a loud voice for such a little fellow.  In Alberta, these little frogs are called the Boreal Chorus and I can say they sure like to sing!

I also realized though, that after sitting among them for a while, my head was clearer and everything was brighter! Being in the midst of those tiny singing frogs had cleared my head. We have energy centers in our bodies called chakras, which act as our energetic circuit board. Each chakra is a different frequency and regulates at a different level (In the bible, they are called lampstands). Being among the frogs cleared my head of old, cloying energy and I felt much better.

So the message today is:

Go play outside, listen to the birds, the frogs and the wind and allow nature to heal and nurture you today!

Wow. There has been some big shifts this month, especially since coming back from Hawaii. Whenever I go through a spiritual shift, relationships drop off.

What I learned most from this is that its so important, especially now, to be very self aware and even a bit vigilant, about what is ‘mine’ and what is not, that’s ‘yours’. Its so important to observe and remain neutral, because otherwise its so easy to get sucked into other people’s drama.

As 2012 approaches, I notice how much more self absorbed people are. I look into their eyes and the light within them isn’t as bright and shiny as it could be. People are cutting each other off while driving because they are on cell phones or lost in thought about their lives. They aren’t present with their loved ones because they are too busy texting 20 other people. No one seems to be present and focussed on the now.

Its so important to be centered and grounded and focussed in the present moment. When a person isn’t, but focussed on angry memories of the past or the stress of how everyone has frustrated them during the day, it creates what Sonia Choquette calls “open doors and windows”. This creates little cracks and holes for gunk to collect. Basically, if you walk out of your house, leaving the door wide open, when you get back squatters can move in and burglars can come in and take what isn’t yours.

There’s even that slightly creepy song from the 70s, Where Evil Grows (I kept hearing it before my trip, totally an omen from the angels!). i put the lyrics here (and a warning, they are spooky).

i like the way you smiled at me. i feel the heat that enveloped me. what i saw i like to see. i never knew, where evil grows. i should have steered away from you. my friend told me to keep clear of you. but something drew me near to you. i never knew, where evil grew. evil grows in the dark, where the sun it never shines. evil grows in cracks and holes, and lives in people’s minds. evil grows it’s part of you and now it seems to be that every time i look at you evil grows in me. (break) if i could hold a wall around you i could control the things that you do. but i couldn’t kill the will within’ you. and it never shows the place where evil grows. you know ya try to smile at me. an’ your heat it envelops me. an’ what i saw you made me see…

It’s not that I believe people are evil. And frankly, demon possession is pretty rare.

I do feel that as long as you hold onto all that old crap, it can make a person go bats**t crazy. All that rough, dense emotional energy creates an irritation. And if a person ignores it too long, stuffing it down ‘in cracks and holes’,  the more they continue to become irritated both emotionally and mentally. I truly get the wisdom of a lady who said to me, that people most often haunt themselves.

Energetically its true. If a person isn’t living in the NOW but focussed on all the bad stuff that’s happened and creating blame, its easy for that ego to hijack you and take you for a ride. Before you know it, you get caught up in this merry go round of drama and angst.

As our vibration increases, denser energies of anger, fear, jealousy are becoming irritants. This is where the vigilance comes in because I’ve really seeing how housing old, dense emotions of old anger, pain, guilt, fear, jealousy and sadness can actually make a person become neurotic and just plain crazy (and crazy making!). This energy, when projected at self or another creates thoughtforms.

So, my thought for today… go write it down and burn it. (Maybe don’t burn the smoke detector though!).

And, if you need professional counseling, get it. There is no stigma to having a neutral person help you clear out that old gunk and junk in the attic.

Aloha! After two beautiful weeks in Kona, Hawaii at Angel Camp, I am back and settling in at home.  Hawaii was beautiful and the people at ATP® were amazing! Such a wonderful group of people!!  The hotel was a very lively place while we were around!

I was blessed to have a chance to commune with the spinner dolphins on a morning swim and they are truly amazing. It felt symbolic that one leaped and spun in the air only a few feet from where I was swimming in the water!   I also loved the ocean, the palm trees and all the flowers and most of all, all the beautiful locals!  Everyone in Kona smiled and said hello and were incredibly helpful and friendly. I definitely found a new home away from home!!

I am also happy to say that I graduated and am now officially an Angel Therapy Practitioner® and have been updating my site to reflect some of these new shifts in energy! I am now offering Angel Card Readings, Angel Therapy Sessions and Angel Parties!

Its been a long winter, with naps and books, crocheting and soul searching, meditation and inner healing.

After my layoff last fall, the most common questions were how the ‘job search’ was going and when was i starting a new job. Most people, aside from family and a few clsoe friends, have been baffled by my answer that I haven’t been looking.

And you know what? I haven’t been looking, and things have been ok. The world did not cave in and my life has been peaceful.

Now, I do realize that life in our world does require money to survive. I have done a bit of freelance, but mostly I’ve needed time to rest, rejuvenate and do some inner healing. I really hadn’t realized how much burnout I was feeling creatively, physically and especially psychically.

Being in a work situation, where I sensed immense changes afoot left me feeling jumpy, waiting for the other shoe to drop. My manager was puzzled why I took it so well, and I told him I had ‘weird vibes’. (It was true!) Low and behold, right after Christmas, the whole division was sold to another company, and the remaining staff in my department were also layed off (and they didn’t get a package like I did!).

My message from the angels and my guides? I had just received ‘Pennies from Heaven’ and it was time for me to relax and reflect.

So what else have I been doing with my time? Guides led several clients to me in January, giving me not just the blessing of assisting them with Akashic Readings, but also reinforcing to me that I was being taken care of.

I had a wonderful weekend at the Health and Wellness Show a few weeks ago, with my fellow Reconnective Healing Practitioners. We introduced 235 people to the Reconnective Healing Frequencies and I was again blessed when I had a lovely lady tell me she saw an Angel standing by her feet during her 5 minute session!

I am continuing to study on the Akashic and other spiritual modalities such as crystals, aromatherapy .

I am excited that I am going to Hawaii in June to study Angel Therapy with Doreen Virtue!I have always wanted to go, and now I’m blessed with the freedom to attend. I have always had an affinity to all the Angels, so its a true answer to prayer!

And I made some new friends along the way, which are included in the links along the side!

So now that spring is coming I feel like I’m beginning to wake up and have some momentum again. Which means this site will become more active! Yay!

Wow. What a crazy fall I’ve had. I’m sorry I have not posted much lately. I want to thank everyone for such amazing compliments about the articles. It was really inspiring!

So word of advice, if you are really desiring change, be aware that when you ask Spirit and the Angels to assist you, you’ll really get it! I was at an Arch Angel Uriel evening at Angels, Sprites and Other Delights and I was feeling the pressure. Energy had been building up for weeks and I wanted something to shift. I was feeling overwhelmed. I asked for change.  I was in art school at night, working and freelancing and studying to for my healing practice. It was becoming overwhelming.

Boy did I get it!

I have such a huge transition, 3 days later.  I had been working for a large company for almost 6 years and I got laid off, which has turned out to be a very positive development. I have had some time for rest, reflection and to start thinking about the next phase of my life.

I plan to write more articles here, develop more artwork, freelance a bit and most importantly go forward with my healing services! I managed to manifest a beautiful massage table for free! Now I’m seeking some space and I’ll see what happens!

Anyway, now that I’ve gotten my self on a new path, I will begin writing more articles in the next coming weeks!

The reality is that it doesn’t always seem to work out that way, does it?  Regardless of your belief system, whether you believe we live many lives or just this one, making shifts in our lives sometimes takes a lot of elbow grease and can cause discomfort.  We can become so engrained in patterns that we’ve held for years, decades (even lifetimes!).

I’ve wondered lately, how is it realistic to expect that everything might change overnight?

This weekend, I went to a chinese lady who does meridian work. Eastern medicine and its philosophies are quite different, to say the least, from our western ideas about the body and healing. So grasping some of what she’s saying isn’t only difficult because of her strong accent, but also because the concepts are much different than those I have knowledge of. We worked on some initial things, but like all types of clearing, its a layered process, so it will take time.

Anway, it was my first visit. I came out smelling like tiger balm, very relaxed and met a friend for coffee. An aquaintance came over and we mentioned that we’d gone to see this lady and he stated “You know, it took me over 40 years to get the way I am. If I started doing that stuff to try and undo all those years, I’d have to O.D on it to get anywhere!”

I burst out laughing, because I realized its true, in a way. My attitude this year has been to subject myself to all different types of healing work including reconnective healing, dowsing, chakra clearing, angel medicine. I have dozens of books that I’ve bought, and haven’t read yet, audio programs, podcasts. I’ve been doing meditation circles, counseling, tarot classes. You name it, this year I’ve been doing it.

I realized, that I have indeed been O.D.’ing in an attempt to change a lifetime overnight.

That wasn’t very realistic of me. It’s no wonder I am tired. I’m full. I have to digest and process. That takes time.

But realizing that about myself, I wonder how many others are doing the same thing. We live in a world that has become high pressure, the economy isn’t the best, our society puts so much pressure on us to live up to unrealistic ideals in beauty, lifestyle and values the disconnection we are all experiencing. Media want us to fill that hole with more ‘stuff’, to wall ourselves off with our headphones, and stay plugged in 24/7 with cellphones, blackberries, email, texting, twitter, facebook. Noise.

I realized that its ok to unplug, to be quiet and still. In fact its necessary, because we aren’t as well adapted as we think to such a fast paced life. For thousands of years we roamed the earth, lived in small communities and didn’t do more than a fraction of what we do now. So why do we feel its necessary to force ourselves to go, go, go?

Another realization I had lately is that I am good at many things and I quite frankly suck at other stuff. I am quite intelligent. If I had the desire, going back to university and getting an MBA or a degree in psychology or something wouldn’t be hard. But frankly, I have no motivation. Yes, I could have a great salary afterwards, but I would be bored out of my mind. The things I am passionate about are not necessarily valued by western society and its emphasis on logic and the left brain. But its ok. I like the way I am.

Having those realizations took time though. Several years, actually. Not a quick fix, was it?

My point is that, yes getting energy work and intuitive work done, going within and clearing blocks is important. Sometimes shifts happen dramatically, sometimes they are enjoyable. But sometimes, shifting old beliefs and old blockages can be uncomfortable, and that’s ok. Its no different than if you go to physiotherapy after an injury.

Sometimes shift can be uncomfortable, painful, but its a good pain. It leads to healing and movement.
